PJ Duplex – A Luxury Stay in Kedarnath

Welcome to PJ Duplex, your luxury stay experience in the serene mountains of Kedarnath, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. By accessing, booking, or staying at PJ Duplex, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. General Policy

PJ Duplex is owned and operated by PJ Duplex Resorts Pvt. Ltd.

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

These terms apply to all reservations made directly through our website, by phone, email, or through authorized travel partners.

2. Booking and Reservation

All bookings are subject to room availability and confirmation.

To secure your reservation, a minimum 50% advance payment is required at the time of booking.

The remaining balance must be paid during check-in or as per the payment terms provided in your booking confirmation.

We accept payments via UPI, bank transfer, credit/debit cards, or approved travel partners.

The hotel reserves the right to cancel unconfirmed or unpaid bookings.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in time: 12:00 PM

Check-out time: 10:00 AM

Early check-in or late check-out is subject to room availability and may incur additional charges.

Guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, or Driving License) upon check-in for verification, as required by Indian law.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made 7 days or more before arrival: Full refund (after deduction of applicable service charges).

Cancellations made 3–6 days before arrival: 50% refund of the advance payment.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in or no-shows: No refund.

Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original mode of payment.

For group bookings, corporate stays, or peak-season dates, cancellation terms may differ and will be clearly mentioned in the booking confirmation.

5. Modification Policy

Date or room modifications are allowed subject to availability and applicable rate differences.

Any request to change booking details must be made at least 72 hours before check-in.

6. Guest Conduct and Responsibilities

To ensure a peaceful and safe environment for all guests:

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside rooms or enclosed spaces. Designated smoking areas are available.

The use or possession of alcohol or narcotics within the temple vicinity or resort premises is prohibited by local law.

Guests are expected to maintain decorum and respect local culture, customs, and religious sentiments.

Any damage to hotel property, linen, or furnishings caused by the guest will be charged at replacement cost.

PJ Duplex reserves the right to refuse service or evict guests causing disturbance, damage, or engaging in unlawful activities—without refund.

7. Liability Disclaimer

While PJ Duplex ensures your safety and comfort, we are not responsible for:

Loss or theft of personal belongings left unattended in rooms or public areas.

Natural calamities, road closures, or events beyond our control (such as landslides, floods, or government restrictions).

Disruptions in power, water, or network connectivity caused by regional factors in remote mountain areas.

Guests are advised to safeguard valuables and carry personal travel insurance, especially during monsoon or winter seasons.

8. Child and Extra Bed Policy

Children under 6 years stay free of charge using existing bedding.

Extra bed (if required) is chargeable and subject to room category and availability.

Maximum occupancy per room is 4 Pax as per room.

9. Pets Policy

For hygiene and safety reasons, pets are not allowed inside rooms or dining areas unless explicitly permitted in advance for certain categories (pet-friendly rooms, if available).

10. Use of Facilities

Guests can enjoy all common amenities including lounge areas, dining halls, mountain-view terraces, and outdoor spaces.

Some services (like bonfire, guided treks, or event setups) may carry additional charges.

Please follow safety guidelines while participating in outdoor activities or hiking near the property.

11. Force Majeure

PJ Duplex shall not be held liable for failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters

Political unrest or local restrictions

Pandemic-related lockdowns

Transport strikes or curfews

In such cases, bookings may be rescheduled or held in credit for a future stay.

12. Website and Online Content

The website and all materials (photos, videos, descriptions) are the property of PJ Duplex.

Guests must not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without written consent.

Prices, offers, and information displayed online are subject to change without prior notice.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy. Any information collected during booking or stay will be used strictly as per our Privacy Policy

By providing your details, you consent to their use for communication, verification, and service improvement.

14. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from bookings or stays at PJ Duplex shall be governed by the laws of India.

The courts of Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all legal matters.

Guests agree to attempt amicable settlement before pursuing legal remedies.
